Will update a 2011 New Brunswick Driver’s Handbook which is available online with references to EllensLaw which became law in 2017.

NB Public Safety will begin working with the NB Cycling Coalition over the summer to review the NB Motor Vehicle Act’s bicycling safety articles as compared to other provinces and identify recommendations for the governments consideration this fall in modernizing the Act for the safety of all road users.

Thank you to the core group of cyclists Stephen Marr, Gary Crowley, Nick Cameron, Brian Gillis and Nancy Watters who volunteer their time and energy to improve cycling safety in our province. Thank you to MLAs Glen Savoie, Trevor Holder, Arlene Dunn and other Saint John area MLAs for their assistance.
