2017 will see the East Coast Games bring road racers from around the province to Lorneville, and a chance to be crowned Provincial Champion. A new course for 2017, and the addition of a TT on Saturday will see 2017 build upon 2016.
This year the East Coast Games will serve as the 2017 Provincial Championships for both the Time Trial and the Road Race at the event hosted by Saint John Cycling.
On Saturday the 24th, racers will have a chance to race the 10km TT route, starting from the Lorneville Community Centre. There will be three separate categories, Men, Women, and U17 for competitors to race in.
On Sunday, the ECG Road Race will see racers tackle a 12.9 km route, with a neutral lead out from the Lorneville Community Centre. The course is sure to be fast, but with enough climbing, it will sure to be a challenge for all.
Provincial Champions will be the top finishing New Brunswick racers in the three TT categories, as well as A,B, and C categories for Men and Women at the road race.
