2017 is here, and although the snow and ice may seem like a deterrent, the cycling season is upon us as well.

Our 2017 Club affiliation process has begun. Club rides, events, and participation in Velo NB activities are some of the benefits of affiliation.

In past years we have strived to broaden the base of Velo NB, and look to do the same in 2017. Our focus is on sport development, advocacy, and increasing recreational opportunities for all cyclists in New Brunswick. We work with you the clubs, shops, and community organizations to promote and achieve goals that benefit all cyclists.

Affiliation cost is $25 and includes coverage in the comprehensive insurance program that Velo NB participates in. When your club participates in an organized activity with Velo NB members, the club affiliation provides insurance coverage. Additional insurance can be purchased if needed. For more information on the insurance program, contact us, and we can answer all your questions.

Our process for affiliation has changed from last year, as we have moved the system to a Velo NB created and maintained registration page. You’ll be asked to create a user account, which from there you can register your club, as well as purchase 2017 Velo NB membership and race licenses. Payment is made through credit card, or a PayPal account. If you need any help with the registration process, please contact the Executive Director, Chris Foster.
